I played at Blankney GC today (see wet gear post) with a bunch of juniors I used to teach from 10 years ago. They're now late teens/early 20s
There was 15 in all playing so 5x3 groups.
Below is a pic taken of the last 2 groups

Why was it interesting?
The combined handicap of the 6 golfers in the picture was 5

excellent! as they are all scratch does that make you 5:whistle:

Great to see 2 girls there, so whats the h/caps and how did they do on the day?

Do you still have any input with them teaching wise Bob?

Sadly no.
2 are now at college in Lincoln, 1 is in Spain and the other 2 are in the States on golf scholarships.

Their handicaps are from the right
Sam 3
Danny +2
Jess +1
Kirsty 2
Josh 3

Below is a picture of me teaching Danny when he was about 8 or 9.
He's now 6'1"

Great to see a group that have progressed so far with their game. Must be reward in itself to see them playing the game at such a level Bob.

PS did they outscore you ?

We were actually playing Texas scramble and surprisingly, used my shots more often than not.
They had all been on the pop the night before which might explain alot.

You look like a proud dad there Bob. Anything you should be telling us ? Must be nice to know that you put them on the right path.

Well done Bob. A testament to your teaching ability and when of them turns pro and gets their first tour win do you think they'll mention you in dispatches. Shame the V-Easy wasn't around then. Think of the publicity you'd get
