Well I've had golf cover for the past 20 years, and I've been fortunate not to have to use it. However I still don't agree with your arguments that insurance is a must ;)

Each to their own ;)

I race Radio controlled cars, which reach ridiculous speeds, before I race anywhere I am expected to show proof of insurance, I am amazed that it is not compulsory to have insurance for liability for golf, the cost is so low, some people pay more for a dozen balls than some insurance costs. As a beginner, it should be (in my opinion) one of the first things you buy.

I'm now firmly in the Yes, I have been struck group.
More shock than pain to be honest - but three inches left and I would have been singing soprano.
No shout and the usual excuse 'I didn't know I could hit it that far'.

Dolt - you were hitting downwind and hooked it out of sight over the bushes screening the 11th tee, shout you pratt!
