Joined the forum yesterday, braved the weather for a round today & shot my best score yet! Decided to fight the cold weather, finish work halfday & get down to my club for a round, light permitting. I dont know whether it was because I was worried about fading light & hence didnt think too much before taking each shot (normally do!) & played quicky or whether it was the motivation I got after joining the forum yesterday...but I went round in 14 over. I even managed a birdie on the par 4, 4th & a birdie on the par 5, 7th! (My best before was 19 over, its a par 71 & I joined about 3 months ago its not that great a score but I play off 20 so I was quite happy!)

Needless to say Iv come home now all smiles without a care in the world. The wife thinks Iv secretley won the lottery or am having an affair!! :D

AAh...it is an amazing game :)

My wife thinks I'm talking to a bunch of certifiable losers (her words not mine). Think she's got the hump now I've been custom fitted for my new irons.

Anyway rickya good on you. If you can shoot that well playing relatively quickly to get the round completed it bodes well for a more thought about round. Time for that handicap to start tumbling!!!
