Injured :(

Fighting talk and I'm sure Smiffy can open a book if necessary. I go at least evens that you get turned over. Beware the injured golfer and all that and especially given your legendary reputation for chucking a shank into the equation at ill opportune moments

He has also been known to be talked into taking the wrong club off the last tee when ahead.

Bad luck!

Tore mine 3 weeks before the London marathon a few years ago (6 months training down the pan! ) and another 6 months before it was fully healed.

As Snelly said, keep it moving and start walking as soon as you can - be careful on stairs and inclines though for a while!

Struggling with injury myself ,suffering swollen hands after playing and being at the range ,hands are as weak as a 2 year olds, Doc's on Friday not looking forward to that.

One of my mate snapped his Achillies in December he's looking at June at the very earliest before he can play not good.

Sounds like we are all falling to bits. Did my ankle and hip at the range in October. It was just getting right, my dam dog jumped when a car backfired, he crashed into the same leg (10st of rottie) and has knocked it back to square one. I cant even sit down without pains shooting up and down my leg.

I wouldn't be too upset at that news given the fact a lot of courses are shut and its bitter out. Hope it gets better soon though. Are you allowed to hit any balls at the range or is it total rest still?

Total rest in terms of golf still so cant even hit balls at the range, got some basic stretching and strengthening exercises to do and told to make sure im walking several times a day too

Definitely best time of year to have it, doesnt stop me climbing the walls though lol, there again having had many years out of the game because of my knee I should know better
