Bursted is nice, like a lot of them around here it gets claggy in the winter, if she’s looking up that way Stockbrook Manor is worth a look.Yes, we probably will as long as the Tunnel is clear for me
Whats so amazing is that her husband (doesnt play) walked round my place with her earlier in the year as I was getting back into the game and he commented on how nice it felt there compared to where she is right now.
So currently on her list is Ingrebourne, The Burstead and Heron now.

I heard a few years ago that they potentially may be affected by the plans for the new 2nd Thames crossing, but dont know if that is still the case but, Orsett has some lovely holes and whenever I've played it its been in good condition (sometimes on the Open Qualifying rota) and very enjoyable

Great course, good condition all year round, huge driving range, great pro. I'd happily join if I didn't live the wrong side of the river.

It's ok. It gets closed in the winter just like most when nature comes along.

I've flown over it several times coming in to land at City Airport. It's a very desolate place, surrounded by industrial estates and oil depots. It's great that someone had the energy and vision to convert brownfield waste land to a golf course. They could also build a golf course in Mordor.
I can't comment on the course itself, other than to make the obvious statement that this is not a links or even an inland links. The title of this thread should be amended to Ingrebourne Fake Links
