Acccording to some news my wife was reading at the weekend, this is to do with some excessive solar activity. Apparently due to a large increase in the number of black spots appearing.

however, I remember playing golf and sunbathing in London for most of October and thats 28 years ago
I dont go for the 'seasons changing' theory...........it's weather, its unpredictable and constantly changing

Its fact that its getting warmer (nowt to do with global thing). As if you look back in history. The thames use to freeze over so thick that they use to hold fairs and the like on it in the winter. Think it was about 200yrs ago.

Looks like it will be just as hot tomorrow at Blackmoor for the Society Challenge, as it was for the forum day in June. Just hoping it doesn't bring out shorts and funny hats.
