In Your Bag

Not sure.....
Not totally convinced with the 910 fairway - obviously it's me but we're not reading the same page at the moment.
The MP58's are under scrutiny - they are by far and away the best set of irons I've ever had but I do need at least my B+ game to get them to work. Contemplating a change to MP53/JPX800Pro/AP2 sort of club to get a little more forgiveness - watch this space.
Happy with everything else. The wedges might need a tinker if the irons change - different lofts/distances but other than that...

I want to change my Cleveland Hybrid for a 910H as I liked it when I tried it at the range.

Tried some new irons, but I was swinging like a prat, so none of them felt great. I will have another go when im swinging a little better.

I don't really know how to answer this one! NOOOO!

The only thing i'm happy with is my actual bag- a nice pink Titelist number.

Apart from that i'm still using my Wilson Staff Progressive irons i got in 1994, a Cleveland hi-bore xl i got off e-bay last year to get me going again, a Lynx Boom Boom 3 wood and an Oddyssey Rossie 2 putter circa '96.

Still, i managed to get down to 10 with that lot last year. i've noticed as my hair fell out, technology moved on...

So when i start at a new club next year i'll be getting starting from scratch kit wise.

I have a cheeky wee savings account Mrs Moods is not aware of so when i come home one day kitted out like Mr Nevada Bob himself, i'll just tell her i've been dealing drugs -it'll be easier :D

Want to change my hybrid. I'm sure it's sitting a fraction closed. My pro recons its the draw bias version and I'm snap hooking it on every shot. It always had a more pronounced right to left than all the other clubs but lately its left and going more left. No confidence in it and avaialable to a good home for £30 plus p&p

My wife and I recently (a few months) returned to golf after not swinging a club in about 17 years. We went initially for cheap starter sets, the rational being that if we didn't really get back in to the game then it was no great financial loss. Totally false economy (ok, tight fistedness).

We have both upgraded already, the missus to Taylor Made Burners and myself to Wilson Staff CI9 Irons and Deep Red woods. I'm finding the difference to be incredible. Slightly less forgiving on a miss hit shot, but, the well hit shot is just so much better than with the cheap clubs. A huge added bonus being the lack of a horrible jarring sensation all the way to the shoulders!

Whilst by no means a 'gear snob' (I don't have the means for that)I think it's fair to say that you get what you pay for.

whats up with the 910f? as for the jpx800's, Rick will be along soon to convert you ;)

Imurg, read my in depth review on the JPX 800 pro's in the review section. It's all you need to know to make a decision. :D

Woods, irons and wedges are there to stay. The putter might get changed out every now and then for others I have, but the thing I'd really like to change is the hybrid.

Don't necessarily want another hybrid, just something to fit nicely inbetween 4 iron and 4 wood.

For the first time in a while, I'm happy with my set-up.

A few weeks back I was considering a few changes, but my recent form has kind of forced me to keep the bag as it is.

If it ain't broke, I ain't fixing it
