In heaven

Nice bats DB. Which KBS shaft do you have ? I have the CMB's with stiff c-taper's in and tbh im struggling with the shaft. When its on , its on, when its bad.....the ball seems to go nowhere !

....I play at South Leeds GC .

I work near there and I've played it once (last year), I proceeded to drive the green, shave the hole for an almost eagle and tap in for a birdie on the first, "come on - here we go" I think, then took a 10 on the 2nd!!!!

Oh yes I know that feeling, in a recent scratch league match our lad halved the hole with a 7. The second and 3rd can be killers. If you get the drive through the trees then it is a wedge to the green. We'll have to have a knock sometime pal.

Drawboy check your lofts especially on the 9/pw, from memeory they were 2* stronger than the tm so the wedge plays more like a 9.5i @ 44* , with the 9 being almost a tm 8, from there on they were only 1* out iirc

Chris we have plans at the club to move the tee further back aswel that should be fun me personally can't wait

It wasn't the tree's fault..... my bad shot is a pull left with the driver, I do it a couple of times per round (it drives me insane), problem is in that round both those times were on that hole!!

I enjoyed the course - the only thing I didn't like was the down hill hole (well just the tee position really) where you drive over the path, which at the time had a constant stream of school children walking past!!!

Cheers OS. TBH the 2 things about them I do not like are the stronger lofts and the longer lengths. I may whip the grips off and cut them back to standard length. I'll hit them a few times first though and see how I get on.

I really liked mine, the only thing that worried me was the black Nickle finish wearing early

You're in heaven? - what's it like? Was St Peter standing at the pearly gates with his big book? I sense a spiritual awaking with your new shineys :)

Adams cb3 forged irons update. Wife out of bed, sleeping with the dog. Adams cb3 irons next to me on the girly side keeping warm. I love them.

played your place again tonight Drawboy, thoroughly enjoyed it, but by god it's hilly, my legs are knackered!!!!! and I still hate the tee placement on the 15th, I'd just make it shorter and play from where the ladies is! some of the other tees are great though, nicely set back in the trees and the greens were excellent (and tricky!)
