Improvement

I'd start eating 3 or 4 kebabs a day, wash them down with about 10 pints of lager and start smoking 20+ ciggies.
When your gut is as fat as the rest of us on here, then you can see what we have to contend with.

Don't most touring pros reckon on hitting 800+ balls each non playing day ?

So, maybe something like :

Monday : AM hit 400 balls. Hang around the pro's for a couple of hours. PM hit 400 more balls

Tuesday : AM Lesson. Help pro. PM hit 500 balls

Wednesday : Play 36 holes

Thursday : AM help Mum with the shopping/housework. PM hit 500 balls

Friday : DAY Play 27 holes. EVE Hang around shoping mall with mates.

Saturday : Do Saturday job. Give Mum £10 a week

Sunday : AM Rest. PM Chores

Obviously needs mixing up, but you get my drift, I hope.

well if your joining mossock next year mono it will be okay hitting hundreds of balls most days , as the range is free and you can use your own balls :p

Yeah ant im playing there tomorrow actually throw us a text my way topwards the weekend and well have a game :D
 
mono - 100 yards and in and puttin -that`s what u should be workin on with ur spare time

I think that's sound advice for golfers who have got a good long game, but I think modern pros will have to have the 300 yard drive and long game to match - then the work can go into the short game, but it's no good having an excellent short game if you are only hitting it 225 yards off the tee.

Oh I forgot to mention - if I had my time again, I'd put loads of effort into impact bags or something similar. ( Help strengthen up the forearms and ball striking )
