Impluse buys

Wouldn't bother hitting them at the range or easing them in. The range wont reproduce a proper hit on the turf. Taking a lovely divot. I tried my'n at the range and because I take a fair divot I can never hit a long iron that well off the astro paths! Keep your R7's for the medal. then stick em straight in and hit them off the proper grass!
I eased them in but to be honest I hit them great straight away and the shafts feel twice as good as my old clubs. Wished I put them all in sooner!

Well I'm having 9 holes tomorrow night with them, just to "christen" them so to seak and get a general idea of how they play.

Who knows. If they are long and crisp tomorrow they may stay in for the Saturday medal

I'm going for a knock tomorrow night Monty so I'm going to play them and see what's what. We have the 1st medal of the year on Saturday so the R7's will be back in the bag for that.

I'm going to try and ease my way into them gradually and try not to chop and change too often.

I'm going to try them on the range and on the course inbetween medals and stablefords, probably after work and friendlies until I feel comfortable I can make a score with them in the bag full time.

Pfft man up skip the R7's and enjoy. You have defo got a bargain and will enjoy them blades are

Bargain. Superb clubs.

If you go on the Mizuno forum you will see that the MP32s are regarded by many as the best of the MP series. They are my favourite looking.

Enjoy.

Just ordered an 7iron mp30 which just had to be bought as it had my measurements (2 deg upright and 1/2 inch longer)

looking forward to the finding out if the "buttery soft feel" is true or a myth.

They look lovely mate, looks like those Taylormade Wedges could be next for the mizzie replacement :)

Like I said Chris, I'll see how they play tomorrow night. Strangely excited about 9 holes in the rain now

I did have a look Mashie on there to see user reviews. Another thing I noticed, not just on the Mizzy forum, was the variety of handicaps that play them and rate them so highly.

Vokeys actually

The MP 32 are a very forgiving club have a set of those myself which I tend to use over the winter. Mine were a bargain too and only paid £100 for mine which were 2 iron to PW, though don’t use the 2 iron much. Enjoy them they are great clubs if I’m struggling with my MP62 I go back to the 32’s as they are so much easier to hit.

Don’t thin one on a cold day though, did that on the 18th at Spey Valley with Craw in our epic win. I couldn’t feel 2 fingers on my right hand for two days, that was with a 4 iron, awe ;)

But Monty says I have to or else I don't become a free mason, or member of another society :smirk:
