I've won £3 on Thunderball twice in the last month.

I hate the "exciting news about your lottery ticket" e-mail they send you if you play online. It's always the lowest possible prize, why get me all excited?

Our Saturday swindle has a interesting rule. If first placed is tied, rather than go on countback, the money goes on lucky dips for the roll over. Basically you have to win the pot outright. Any hoo, waiting to play the winter knockout yesterday so not in the swindle but the guy comes up to me with an envelope. It was only £8 but we had 4 numbers on one line (the first 4 drawn so he was sweating a bit) and £10 for three on the next. Granted it wasn't huge but its a start

Thats nothing Our 3ball 2's pot hasnt been won for 8 weeks and now stands at £24, next game will be for £27

There are 6 par 3's on our course 6 x 8 weeks x 3 people means that after 144 attempts nobody has scored a 2

pathetic isnt it

I thought i had won something significant the other day. I got the usual "we have exciting news about your ticket" mail but then a second mail popped up from Camelot customer service. I opened it and it said that they have transferred winnings directly to my bank account.

I got excited as I never had this mail before.

I went to the lotto site and checked only to find that it was a tenner again. A few weeks ago I set up a direct debit and didnt realise winnings from these went straight into the bank. Gutted.:(
