IJP Design going under?

I've got two pairs of the Tech trousers, they fit really well. I find the shirts a good fit too.

In my experience all products have been good quality and hardwearing.

Have to say, the pants you had on at the Cleveland day, were very thin.

Checking out my bum was you 😜

They were some kind of lightweight elasticated cloth/material more so for summer but were ideal to wear my long johns underneath 👍

They are only for special occasions (meets) as I'd get ribbed at my home club if I wore them 😳😜🏌️

For £35 I'm very happy with them 😎

Is it the tartan tech ones ?

As I have most of the tartans - got the Poulter Tartan as opposed to Tech going to have to make sure we don't clash :D

All the items have what season they are from under the description, e.g. SS14

Looks like everything is old stock or really old stock with nothing newer than this time last year

Doesn't look healthy... But, they did pull out of retail completely (last year?) and switch to an online only business. As a result I would expect them to have a lot of stock returns that need clearing. It'd make sense for them to do that before launching a new season I guess.

I'm also a fan of the clothing, mainly down to fit but also some details and performance. Their Tech Trousers are excellent and give me all year round weather performance with the addition of some thermal leggings in the winter.

Ordered myself some tech trousers in black

boring colour but sometimes an understated look is needed

£30 delivered is a bargain for his stuff

Some great prices indeed, trousers and polo ordered.

Lot of competition and copycats out there, fine margins in retailing so easy to go under, took IJP design some years to turn a profit too. Maybe they'll end up down the Slazenger/Donnay/MacGregor/Dunlop/Ram/Karrimor route - once top brands that are now cheapo brands!

Love his clothing, best fit & quality IMO. Must have 10 + pairs of trousers & a hell of a lot more tops. I like my clothes to be more fitted so I find they suit me better, different strokes for different folks I guess.

I wonder though, is the fact they are 'Poulters' putting people off. People who don't like him, and lets be honest, there are plenty, may not want to buy his products simply because of the name/brand? And he's in a difficult position where he can't go and get 10/15 tour players to wear them to increase appeal etc as they are synonymise with IJP.

I did always think they needed a few tour players to become a massive brand. They had a Swedish guy for a while, David someone or something? But now they have Poulter and a female golfer, thats it I think!

Poulter is a bit of a love him or hate him kind of character so probably does not help. When a sportsperson is putting their name on their own brand they rely on their performance to help sales, high up in the rankings and winning regularly and the TV exposure that brings no doubt brings orders and Poulter has not won for a good while. I may well get some items to try, at that price I'll wear them to work if nothing else. Only thing that puts me off is his logo, as said before it does look a bit like something else :D

Must admit I like his gear, got a couple of pairs of trousers, some polo shirts etc... all great quality and a great fit. Have had 2 jumpers from there but not getting anymore as they just feel cheap. Too thin, don't wash well.

So, after reading this I decided to take the plunge again and get some gear whilst it was dirt cheap. Lets see if anyone can spot what's wrong with the "Jet Black" trousers I ordered.

I know what you are all thinking though, there's a subtle difference between "Jet Black" and "Oh Lordy That's So Bright It Hurts My Eyes White" so it's a mistake anyone could easily make.

I'd still buy stuff from there again though.
