Ignorance is Bliss

I was wondering if anyone has a good story like mine regarding how much we ACTUALLY spend on golf gear per year. The reason I ask i that I was looking through my isurance details and the wife in her infinate wisdom has insured all my golf gear for the princely sum of £350. I nearly $h1t a brick. That would just cover my woods and bag. But my dilemma is do I tell het the truth???????? Not a chance.

I estimate that I have spent £700+ on bits and bobs and if she ever looked in the rafters of my garage I would be playing in the womens section next year.

I'm scared. I must have spent about £1500 quid in a year. New full set mind but between green fees, membership, clothes, gloves, etc. And balls! Thats some heart stopping figure.
