If you were to play your last round ever...

Augusta, mainly because of its history and the fact not just anyone gets to play there. I would have to go for a hack on the par 3 course too.

For me... Ivinghoe

Oh sorry I misread the thread, I thought it said the last place you wanted to play ever.

In that case, id go for Augusta, because it looks so pretty and for the experience

Fragger

My own course Scotscraig, why would i wan't to play any where else, its a decent track and has kicked my backend plenty of times.

Son Termens, Majorca. Decent course but there is one tee on the back nine, 17th I think where on a hot day you feel a cool breeze and from an elevated tee your view goes down to the flag, down the valley and down to the sun reflecting on the sea. Scatter my ashes there.

Royal County Down, the top ranked links course in the world. And lets be honest.....links is what proper golf is all about ;-)

I'm guessing if its my last round ever time is of the essence and as I can't be asked to fly, get over the jet lag and worry about the clubs getting damaged in transit I think in the UK I'd have to plump for Sunningdale and insist that the grim reaper lays off until I get round the old and the new

Port Royal in Bermuda for me.

Wow, big shout! Especially considering that you have Mid-Ocean around the corner which is streets ahead imo (it is the course I grew up playing on though so I might be a bit biased ;) ) The 16th at Port Royal would be in contention for best par 3 in the world though imo so....

Good to see a shout out for a Bermuda course anyway! :)

My course would be Augusta by the way and out of the courses I have already played it would be Royal County Down. In fact no, forget that, it would be at Mid-Ocean with my old man!!

The first course i ever played and the course im a member of, Stressholme and playing it gross level par. Then I can die a happy man.

Whilst I have played many superb courses over the years, I think if I had to pick one to play my last ever round it would be Pitlochry on a still, summers evening.
Possibly the best views of any golf course I have ever played. Not the hardest track, no par 5's but the elevation changes need to be seen to be believed. The first couple of holes are as tough as they come....all uphill and fraught with danger. Have many happy memories of playing here with good friends over the years. I'd love to return one day.
Catch it in good condition and I don't think there would be any finer place on earth...

Follow this up with a nice T-Bone steak and a bottle of red in the village and all would be well in my world.
;)

Probably La Manga West Course for me.

Fell in love with it.

Seriously punishes a wayward shot too so I like that.

Ash!!
