If you had £1k

if you think about it £1k wouldnt really go that far, assuming if you had that money you would want a c/f! your looking at a top set of irons, a top driver and a putter.
or are you just asking what would you compromise on if £1k was max you could spend on a whole bag?

well i think if you brought 2010 or 2011 kit you could get a very nice bag going. Yes you would have to compromise a bit but some bargain hunting could get you a near pro bag i say

i'd go for the titliest 910 range of woods (loving the driver)
and mizuno mp 53 irons

don't think £1K would cover it though

Scary to think I did that in October. Ping G20 irons, 2 wedges, 1 hybrid and a 3 and 5 wood. Job done

My lovely Dad bought them for me (inheritance) so he'll be loving the fact that now I'm used to them I'm seriously peppering pins. He always said I could have been a contender

id wack it straight down on a membership, some of the clubs around here are doing some mega deals if you pay up in one lump, the best ive seen was 18 months for price of 12 so far.

I really like the look of the Wilson FG62 Irons. I would then get some Cleveland Wedges and a Scotty Cameron Corona. That would take care of a grand with a bit chipped in for good measure

If I had £1,000 I'd buy

Another Scotty Cameron (probably California Sonoma or Studo Select Fastback) £200
52 and 56 Vokey Spin Milled CC Wedges £200
Set of MP59s £600

I'm happy with my current driver and fairways.

If I could get a deal I'd add a nice Mizzy bag in staff colours to put them in.

Wow that didn't take long to spend. Fun though. :D
