Have to agree JO. The normal club/hacker golfer is the life blood. Wonder what they would do if everyone gave up, so no money for them.
 
Does anyone have a hacksaw so i can cut my clubs in half and bin them as i'm crap. i saw Dennis Pugh's swing last week what an effort that was.
 
There is nothing to get me interested in the golf this week. Bill bloody Murray dressed as a knob and playing like one, inane commentary from the host broadcasters, idiots in the Sky studio and no sign of Sarah Stirks shapely legs. I'm out
 
i cant stand these gimiky pro-ams,most are only there because its a charity,how many clubs would let that numpty BILL MURRY play dressed like his part in the over rated film caddy shack,even faldo and his irish no sorry american now host talk drivel,best commentry is BOXY and RADAR,

Why don't you think they should carry FedEx points? I'm not arguing they should, but it has never crossed my mind that they shouldn't so just interested to know your reasoning?
 
The PGA Tour is miles better to watch than the European Tour. The time helps but they make it fun, unlike the ET which is pretty tedius to watch. Look at Stanley melting down the other week, then overturning 9 shots a week later to win. The only negative of the PGA Tour is their shot by shot coverage of Tiger Woods, even when he's smashing it everywhere.

If you're watchng 4-5 hours of golf you don't want serious views non-stop, you want some serious stuff and a bit of fun. I personallly enjoyed watching the amateur players more than the pro's at Pebble.
 
Im the Complete Opposite
The PGA Tour looks like it is staged on about 6 different course over the year, very much the same
Blast it as far as u can
Target Golf into greens
High scores
No shot shaping necessary

The European Tour visits different countries / continents all the time
There are NO 2 courses the Same

And when I tune into Sky tv to watch golf........Thats exactly what I want to do, WATCH GOLF
Not spend most of the time in the studio because the yanks are doing ads, or inbetween coverage as they switch channels, utter Twaddle
Only saving Grace is DAVID FEHERTY............Classic
 
Lets face it he was 'jack s**t', why on earth would you put yourself thro' that when cameras are present.

That said he has every right to play and if he gets enjoyment to continue playing, nobody has the right to tell him he's crap and should give up.
