Absolute class from the little fella, only time I can ever recall anything similar is when Fowler tried telling the ref he wasn't fowled against arsenal ref still gave the penalty though....

Yeah Fowler to his credit pointed to Seaman telling him where he was going to put it, Seaman saved it accordingly but some git went and knocked in the rebound, and again credit to Fowler he didn't celebrate the goal and after said it felt empty and not right..

Di Canio a few years back was given an award after he caught the ball and stopped a game because an opposition player was lying injured.
Thought so. Would have been ideal had Fowler simply passed it back to Seaman but I guess that was never going to happen in a PL game. Sad and cynical perhaps but that would have been great to see

Fowler tried to score the penalty once it had been given , he said he had to act professionally and didn’t give Seaman the direction or try to miss it.

I didn’t miss the penalty on purpose, it was just a bad penalty
