Sitting here looking out of the window after another long hard day slaving over a computer, staring at spreadsheets , sales forecasts and targets

The mind wanders and it always comes back to checking the lottery ticket and finding you have 6 numbers up.
What would i do with it, well the family would be #1 obviously without question however....just to dream.

if i could book the ultimate golf holiday with my mates it would be the following

TPC Cancun, Cancun, Mexico
TPC Blue Monster at Doral, Doral, Florida
TPC at Deere Run, Silvis, Illinois
TPC Harding Park, San Francisco, California
TPC Las Colinas, Irving, Texas
TPC Las Vegas, Las Vegas, Nevada
TPC of Louisiana, New Orleans, Louisiana
TPC of Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
TPC at San Antonio, San Antonio, Texas
TPC at Sawgrass, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida
TPC of Scottsdale, Scottsdale, Arizona
TPC Stadium Course at PGA West, La Quinta, California
TPC Tampa Bay, Lutz, Florida

There is just something about the TPC course in america that really do it for me especially Sawgrass for the 17th and Scottsdale for the 16th.
Myrtle beach and Doral for obvious reasons, and the rest just because i could lol

I love big american courses with lots of water or lots of sand. oh well a boy can dream.
back to those spreadsheets i suppose!!

What your dream golf holiday

I would give up work, become a member at Woburn. Play in every single forum meet, change clubs 6 times a year instead of 3 and spend the winter playing golf and fishing abroad and the summer over here doing the same

No, I would never bore of it either. Oh and a prositute a couple of times a month, serves a need and works out cheaper than a proper GF & without the hassle ;)

I quite often think about this too and after going down to my golf club, writing a check for X amount and getting rid of the current owner, I'd then get 3 mates together and head on a golfing trip that consisted of:

St Andrews
Turnberry
Plane over to US to play
Sawgrass
Harbour Town
Pebble Beach
Scottsdale
Pine Valley
Plane to Dubai to play
Els Club
Emirates Club

Then back home to hire and fire at my newly acquired golf club and get to work making it the best course in Essex! Yes, I'd continue to work.

Really? buy your own course, it would get very samey after a while.
go and buy a simulator thats what i would do in my new mansion have a room dedicated to golf.

with a huge lock and soundproofing to keep out the current wife and so you cant hear her nagging at you to spend time with her.

hmmm wonder if i could stretch to a man friend for her to keep her happy while im happy

I checked golfcoursesforsale.com Yes im that sad.

thers a course in arizona for 4mil first dibs all year round climate but i would need to hire a chap to walk in front of me to scare away the snakes, thats my kryptonite.

ever since as a 7 year old boy i scared an adder in the new forest and it lunged at me,

yes i needed new underwear.......

It would be a business and as I'd have made it the best course in the area the cash would be rolling in leaving me to jet around the world playing various different courses. I'd have to own my golf club, I love it there, the people are great and the course could be great with a bit of money invested. Also there is a load of land all around it which I'd acquire and extend the course or maybe make a second course.

You'll need more than a Wednesday win, those jackpots are pointless.

People always say, "If you won the lottery you wouldn't be able to spend the money quick enough" I beg to differ, I'd blow the lot so damn fast!

Ok double euromillions rollover, if im going to win it might as well be a big one

Speaking of blowing it there was a guy who lived not far from me won 10 mill on the lottery when that was a lot of money

invested 600k in a football team not realising he had underwritten the clubs debt and lost 6mil, the rest had been spent on houses and cars

ended up bankrupt...

then there was the guy 20 miles down the road who won the lottery and then three years later won it again...just no accounting for luck good or bad.

I'd be too busy chasing daylight to be on this forum. I'll say my good byes just now just in case it ever happens.

Well that's my dream over, so back to weekends hitting balls in the wind and rain.

Firstly I would be surprised - as I hardly ever do the lotto.

But I would buy my club - and have a variable system of membership.
Mates = gratis
knobs = £6,000
And in between - for those I am not sure about!

yes yes yes to this list of courses!!! Maybe through in bethpage black!

I'd have to go away to let it all sink in. I don't know where I'd go or for how long, but I'd take my clubs for certain.

Oh.......................and I'd send Mrs Slime a postcard at some point.

Slime.

I'd like to buy a club and run it as a business, partly for something to do. I think after a while even with shedloads of cash all the sitting around and doing nothing can't be good for you and it must help to keep the brain cells functioning. I'd definitely get some top level coaching, some made to measure new bats, and no doubt a few boys toys and make sure friends and family are looked after.

All hypothetical of course. but it doesn't hurt to dream

Give the TPC courses a miss with the exception of Sawgrass, most of them are vastly overrated and you can play much better courses for the same money (not that money would be an issue of course).

First stop would be the sandbelt courses around Melbourne then over to NZ to play Cape Kidnappers. There are also some stunning courses in the Sydney area. After that it would be up to Oregon for all the Bandon courses. Now THAT is what I call a golf trip :)
