Ideas Plz-Golf hotel & spa

Hi looking at going up to the leicester area, kirby muxloe .
i am looking at a couple off nights with HID ,so she would like spa/pool and i would like off course !! GOLF !!

ANY locals up there can lead me in the right direction off a good hotel, upto 80 miles from leicester

Stapleford Park would be my number 1 choice. Could head for Rutland and I would recommend Barnsdale Country Club, no club on situ but within a couple of miles of Rutland Water, Greetham Valley and 10 miles from Stoke Rochford. Superb resaurants too in The Finches, The Wheatsheaf in Greetham and Hambledon Hall if you wany Michelin Star or The Olive Branch if you want Michelin Star in a more relaxed setting.

My knowledge is very much based on the Rutland area (about 20 miles from Leicester)
