Ian Poulter

can't stand the man...i worked at the R&A in 2005 and i bid him good morning when he came into the locker room...he just looked up and looked away...didn't say a word. Pro golfer or not, manners cost nothing...the guy is a prick!

Caught him on the Par 3 coverage last night. His interview was good; mature and sensible despite journos trying to trap him into some comment about TW.
OK, he had his kids with him and it was a fun day, but he was one of the relatively few who seemed prepared to stop and chat with Hazel (thank g it wasn't big-ears) - came across well.

My ex met him on a corporate golf day (She's an ex 'cause I didn't get an invite :)) She said he was a bit of an arogant *** but all the interviews I've seen with him recently he comes accross really well. I like the fact that he wears his heart on his sleeve and gets upset when photogropher's take photos during his shot.

He seems to have matured a lot and you get the impression that his recent success means more to him than most given that he turned pro with a 4 handicap and probably wasn't given much of a sniff.

He is ultra confident and over the last few years his clothes have outshone his golf and I have heard comments that he should concentrate more on golf than clothing but he now seems to have a kind if "I told you so" satisfaction about him.

From the outside, I see nothing to dislike (even the fact he's a gooner :)) and I hope he is in contention on Sunday.
