Ive been dipping in & out to keep up with things,

1. Why does the Media seem to completely avoid criticizing Mr TW for his quite frankly awful manner on the course, club throwing, and God-dammit's. ????
Yes he's undoubtably very good, but its inexcusable.

2. Forgiving Ian Poulter his usual recent vocal moanings, why does he then turn out looking like a complete sweary as if sticking up 2 fingers to those who dislike him ? ( I like his Golf however)

3 Surely the Course cant continue to play like this all weekend ?? Good viewing for us, but I feel that its going to show its teeth before long ?

Timing could be crucial for many......

Any more observations ?

Just seen the Tiger club throwing and I can't believe this behaviour carries on being unpunished. It is petulance that disrespects his playing partners and audience.

I think a penalty should be called for ungentlemanly conduct similar to that in tennis where 'racquet abuse' is punished accordingly.

All I want to know is.....how wayward are they? :o

On a course with trees, they'd be in all sorts of trouble!

I must say, the areas around the greens look pretty punishing though.

I wondered how long it would take the old women(monty's as i like to call em) on this site to moan about woods! why don't you switch over to ukgold cos i think "murder she wrote" is on or is that still a little bit to risky for you!!

I heard woods say "oh Woody" after he hit a shot! how dare he!!!! its a shame the BBC can't put a delay on the broadcast so they can censor this disgraceful behaviour!!!

Don't consider myself a 'Monty' at all, just someone who doesn't expect the worlds best golfer to chuck his club dowm the fairway after a poor shot. I couldn't care less about the language he uses.

Sarcasm rarely gives weight to a valid point by the way.

I used to really like BBC Golf. I absolutely hate it now.

From camera operators who appear half cut to the simpering idiots in the commentary booth, it has become quite an endurance and not a pleasure. Their overuse of hi-motion is a bit like watching a slideshow from someone who has just learnt all the transitions in PowerPoint.

Shame, because with bits like Ken on the course, you do get some useful stuff. However, this is massively outweighed by the ceaseless adoration heaped on everything Woods does. I'm surprised Torrance keeps 'dry' during his stints. Alliss sometimes has his old man moan, but then seems to get dragged into what appears to be a corporation wide sponsorship of Woods. He is one golfer in the field, and on today's performance, one that deserves little coverage compared to some others.

Seeing Watson manouevre around the course in style and grace with a humble post-round interview just highlights the enormous gulf between the truly great players and tee dubbya.

Ah well, I won't get to see anymore as I'll be vodka'd up in Krakow for the weekend.

But how bad were Woods' shoes today?

Wouldn't it be hilarious if Sandy and Monty both make the cut and are in the same 2-ball on Saturday or Sunday?

Not much chat going on there then.

We couldn't be that lucky - could we?

Pinseeker,
Take the Tiger glasses off and recognize that his behaviour on the course today was unacceptable.
If I was playing with someone that behaved like that, I would have walked from the course and let him and anyone else concerned know the reason why.
His behaviour was disrespectful to his fellow players in his group and a terrible example to his younger fans.
By not condemning him, the R&A and the BBC are condoning the actions and come tomorrow morning, you'll see juniors all over the country swearing and throwing clubs around all over the place.
I take it by your comments that you're one of the guys that go about launching clubs around the course.(or utter prats as I like to call them)
