I think you will find the support poles are on OOR side of the boundary.
By Scottish law that means the fence is MY property.

What if the fencing panels are between the fence posts? Down here (and maybe up there) fence ownership is often shown on the property deed plan by one or more letters T marked on the boundary on the owners side of the fence. I still wouldn't sit on it - the neighbours would only complain.

This is also very good for preventing the entry of cats to your garden.
Even more effective than an air gun.
