Due to allergies magnified by a nasal condition I have always been less inclined to get pets than my wife.
Today at 5.50 things changed...
I was woken by the most distressing wailing noise, in a sleepy blur I followed it downstairs. I found my wifes families cat almost shaking by the patio doors, clearly distressed by a huge male cat strutting around the patio.
I stepped out, shooed it away and tried to calm my wifes cat down. Out of no where, having been given the cold shoulder since moving in, I was suddenly given affection by this animal.
I have to say I did cause her a major upset 2 months ago by first starting to sleep in on of her favourite places (my side of wifes bed) and also locking her out of her favourite hiding room (I have my PC and my stuff in there and due to my allergies I dont want it covered in cat hair).
I am sure there are other things she doesn't like about me being here BUT all seems forgiven now.
Next all my wife needs to do is take that final step to convincing me we need a dog...
