I'm off to Gran Canaria for 2 weeks from tomorrow, and I must say that I shall miss all your chatter on the forum, but the compensation is that I will be playing 4 rounds in the sunshine, (hopefully) and I might get to lay around the pool a bit, getting tanned.

It's a hard life when you're rich and retired.

Dave, don't believe a word the rep says ... you MUST use the tap water for drinking and brushing your teeth. Whatever you do DO NOT use fresh bottled water as that would mean you being able to play all your golf without a dose of the 'Ertha Kitts'.

I was there at christmas, played only once on the maspolomas international golf course, highly recommend it. But please please make sure the wind isnt blowing when you play it, when you get back onto the back 4 5 6 7 8 , the wind is against you because it comes all the way from the dunes. No need to book in advance also, just go into the pro shop the day before you want to play and they will let you book a tee off time.

The course in melonoras course looks the biz also, went past there on the way to puerto rico.

Also please please take a look at the Anfi beach course, never got to see it, but its supposed to be the best course on the island.
