Shane has had a tough time since the USPGA. He picked up a virus out their and then broke a wrist in the december ice.
A decent golfer, he won a fantastic tough Irish open in Baltray in wind and rain.
A little step back and deep breath might do him no harm, although I am sure securing his card will start to ring in his ears if the poor form continues.
I hope he picks up some form.
Bit early in the season to write him off completely. Howell, Dougherty etc seem to make high scores on a regular basis these days (although Howell was showing signs of his old form) and so with Lowry's injuries etc the odd blip is inevitable. I liked him since he won the Irish in the way he did and would love him to keep his card again this year
Absolutely, but going out and shooting handicap golf scores wont be doing his confidence any good. Maybe better getting more practice hours in? I dunno, he seems to be a decent big fella.
