I know it's cold out...

Just home from the range and going nicely until I thinned a 7 iron - ouch - poor right thumb never quite recovered!

Just back from playing 9.
Jeez it was cold - but barely any frost around here.
Just bloomin' cold.....

And also pretty dark too.
Very low, thick cloud - gonna be dark by 4 tonight.

Would love your job haha, anyone else get jealous when sitting at work hearing people are playing?

How did you get on?

How did you get on?

37 shots for 19 points

Played 2 or 3 balls on each hole but only scored the first - better ball would have been about 3 under.

Was working on hitting fairways and greens - it's getting there.......only missed 1 fairway and 4 greens..

That's not bad for a Tuesday morning at all hey

I noticed it was pretty light at 5pm yesterday- roll on spring:thup:

I know, I wonder how soon it will be before I can get 9 Holes in after work. My local course and range is about 800 yrds from my doorstep.

Just back from playing in the pro-am and wow that was seriously cold, it even tried to snow a few times. Thankfully no ground frost and the course was in very good condition for the time of year. Some of the pins were so tricked up as not to be funny but we had the last laugh as we nicked the team prize and sweep on countback :)

Thats twice now I've played that course and both times its been pretty much the coldest day of the year (Region will remember when we played there last time!). Thankfully got a voucher to revisit, will be waiting for warmer weather before doing so

back from the range and i couldnt beleive how much the cold had killed the distance.... peachy 6i's not even making the 150 marker..... was the only tit there... ever then girl in the pro shop looked at me a bit weird... not sure if it was the dodgey hat or not

Yes it was pretty parky when we played. I think the worst part is that there's no cover at all from whatever wind there is.

Congrats on the win :)

Went hunting for a driving Range in Ipswich, as I am over here working this week.

First time I have ever been on a range that warns you of liablity if you hit the ball into the ski slope!

Had to hit a few half shots to get the nerves out. I like the idea though, really made me focus on getting the shots straight whereas on some ranges I tend to just welly it!

Have all the winter gear in the bag so was well wrapped up and enjoyed it - was 0.5 in my car when I went out at 6pm.
