I just hate it....

We I changed the grip from a completely round one to a normal shape one and it has had the most dramatic effect of anything I have ever done to a club. It suddenly feels like the club I was fitted for. The head just releases beautifully, the unstable feel has gone. I was on the putting green till 1 in the morning last night.

No real idea why but very happy. Not often the first thing you try works.

Hmmmm interesting. I've never really been convinced by the round grip, like the size but feels harsh as it's solid rubber rather than super stroke softer type.

Might change it for a grip I've got lying around that's the same I as in my last putter.....

It feels like I can now hold the face square through impact and then the toe just releases automatically. Also much quicker to aim at setup so I don't go into the putt twitching having tried to find square.

I feel for you, I, for many years have had a number of putters based on nothing but what looked good and what I could afford. Since having a SAM putter analysis/fitting I love my putter. The only problem is that I really want a new Ping Vault Anser, but can't justify the cost and my Karsten TR is lovely.

In a word Scotty buy one putt putt putt you'll get used to it & love it.

Nice. Glad you are back with it again. Winter is a tough time for putting though as greens can be un-even however i holed a nice 60ft putt with mine Saturday.

The grip is interesting though, while i like mine the round grip does give the opportunity to leave the face out of line when setting up. Where as a flat sided grip does mean you know where it is every time.

Its the most difference I have made to any club. Astonishing that such a small thing can make such an overall difference.
