I don't like the word hate but, I just hate my putter.

The fitting process is excellent, the quality also and it's a beautiful club. It has this wonderful party trick that somehow lets me make putts I never could have before. The more down hill, the bigger the swing the more confident and indeed successful I am.

And that's where it stops. Apart from maybe it's ok for distance control, but I think that's really down to me.

It has the smallest sweet spot of any putter I've owned and the sweet spot seems to be deeply in the heal. When you miss the sweet spot it feels like a Fisherprice toy. Simple putts with previous putter I owned are seemingly impossible.

I don't keep stats but I would be willing to bet that I have reversed my putting stats completely and the whole practice of approaching the green/pin on the best side and below the hole have become bad practice. A good duff to the back edge just off the green with a down hill right to left is a more successful bet.

So, there it is, I hate it, its hard to admit but that's the truth of it. I want my Ping Ketsch back.

Putters are so personal that fitting isn't always the Anser (see what I did there😙)
Just because all the measurements fit you and your stroke fits the putter doesn't mean you're going to putt well with it.
The way I look at it is that you don't choose a putter, the putter chooses you..

That's a pity. Great putter!

Conversely, my putting has gone from strength to strength since I was measured, fitted and bought my Raa.

Just goes to show fitting can be a useful tool but isn't a guarantee.

Worked that way for me ATM. bought an ancient set of Mizuno blades and got a bullseye putter for free. Just found it along with the irons and old bag.

Wormed its way into my bag ahead of 2 Scotty's, Mizuno tour style and see more putter. The more I use the more I am liking it. It just hits SOLID putts and pretty much where I am aiming. What more could you ask for?

If you hate it then bite the bullet and get rid of it.
