I don't like the word hate but, I just hate my putter.
The fitting process is excellent, the quality also and it's a beautiful club. It has this wonderful party trick that somehow lets me make putts I never could have before. The more down hill, the bigger the swing the more confident and indeed successful I am.
And that's where it stops. Apart from maybe it's ok for distance control, but I think that's really down to me.
It has the smallest sweet spot of any putter I've owned and the sweet spot seems to be deeply in the heal. When you miss the sweet spot it feels like a Fisherprice toy. Simple putts with previous putter I owned are seemingly impossible.
I don't keep stats but I would be willing to bet that I have reversed my putting stats completely and the whole practice of approaching the green/pin on the best side and below the hole have become bad practice. A good duff to the back edge just off the green with a down hill right to left is a more successful bet.
So, there it is, I hate it, its hard to admit but that's the truth of it. I want my Ping Ketsch back.
