Read a piece the other week about a french guy in the USA who knowingly had HIV and infected loads of women. Whom he said he loved. He was a real low life. Got sent down for a long time. The case took some real proving and was complicated. But the judge said in his summing up. Intent. He knew what he was doing and he has destroyed countless lives.
My lad went away for a weekend with a gang of lads. One of them was a lad who had along with a group of lads beat seven bales out of a tramp who was asleep on a bench outside of an hospital. He died. They all got sent down. All of the lads in court were innocent angels according to the lawyers. All received a custodial sentence. This lad had served his sentance and was now out on the lash. My lad said basically he had five mins with him over the weekend and that was enough. He said he was a real cocky gob so an so. He talked about the event in which said tramp died and showed no real remorse whatsoever. My lad said he could of quite easily given him What he gave the tramp. A pasting.
What i am trying to say is that even though there is and is not intent in the cases Slab has mentioned. Someone has died. The scrotes out there know the law back to front and use it to there advantage. Four years is not long enough in my eyes.
