Decied to take the plunge and finally purchase a club by Ping.

I went into the local AG and tried out the G20 driver as have been struggling with my current driver of late, it showed up the monitor and much better dispersion than I have been obtaining with the Nike SQ Machspeed. The PGA pro helped and also gave me a 10% discount so £180 in all.

Haven't played with it on the course yet, but looking forward to giving it it;s first run out this weekend in the winter pairs.

Looks a lovely club. I've had a waggle with the G20 in stores and been really impressed with the shape and way it sits at address. Did you try the G20 versus any others, or was that all your tried? Always interested in hearing how it compares to rivals.

I have previously tried the TM Burner Suprfast 2.0 and found that the G20 has much better dispersion figures, which is what I'm looking for.

Will update some more when I have given it a proper run out on the course though.

I have the i15 driver, great club. A friend has just bought the G20, wholly down to him of course and I'm sure he will get better with it but he measures his dispersion in post codes!

I'm trying to think of some witty remark about Ping, old age, wee stains etc but the bottom line is the G20 driver is a good bit of kit and the price seems pretty good. I tried the K15 again a few weeks back as one of my Saturday roll up had it and it is just so easy to hit. Say what you like Ping are making some excellent kit. If I can hold off buying the R11's I've got my eye on I'm still keen to see how the I20's look and feel

I'd be interested to hear how it works out, I'm also looking to replace a Nike driver(Sumo 5000), bought a Titleist ut went back to the Nike, the Ping drivers looks a more likely match.

Well I went to the range with the club last night and have got to say I am very happy with it. Almost everything came out the centre of the face and most were either straight or a slight fade, and found that on off centre strikes the ball still went well.

Really can't wait to give it a proper outing on the course on Sunday.

Well I said I would update after my round this weekend and got to say I'm very happy with my purchase. Had a nice flight and the results were fantastic. Would recommend this driver to anyone.

Haha thanks Tiger, not sure if that is a good thing or not!!

I was always of the ilk that Ping are for the older player (probably from coming on here too much) but it really is a nice club to hit and gives confidence when I am stood at the tee.

It was our winter league and I was called up as a reserve. My partner was a 28 handicapper and our opponents 11 and 13. We beat them 4 and 3 and led to the 11 handicapper asking me to play with him in 2 weeks time when the 13 hcapper (and club captain) is away. So I must be doing something right.
