My son snapped his 8 iron hitting a branch when playing from the trees a month or so back. Put the club in his bag but it fell out somewhere enroute back, he was gutted. Fortunately, someone picked it up and handed it in. He was over the moon, re-shafted and back playing it in a week, during which time he moaned every time he needed it and didn't have it available......
I'd say hand it in, if no one claims it, then you get it back.
Yeah, I'd say hand it in or at least ask at the pro shop if somebody has been searching for it. Chances are no one wants to pick it up and you get to keep it anyway, but it just seems like the decent thing to do.
Agreed. I went back this morning, I asked if anyone had been in asking about it, no one as of yet apparently. I've handed it in and I shall go back in a week or so, if its not been claimed I'm keeping it. I know I'd be gutted if I threw a wobbler and lost my club.
