Had a little look and can't see if this is covering old rope?

Currently got a set of TM burners 4-sw, struggle with the longer irons. Hit about 175 with the 4 when I cream it, but that's not often. Anybody regularly use a hybrid? Are they easier to hit, get good distances?

I don't seem to get a certain distance with irons. Pw I easily hit 120-130 and 3 wood is 210-220' with a nice drawI've developed thanks to a video by everyones favourite coach (mark crossfield). Driver can be anywhere from 175 to 260 depend edging on connection and hook!

Love my hybrid.

I feel more confident standing with a hybrid than a 4 iron. As a side note though I might be looking to sell my burner 2.0 hybrid.

Although some people say they struggle with hybrids, they are in the minority.

They're like cheating- just swing easy with them and watch that ball fly. Go and try a few out at your local range.

It may sound harsh but I always think of them as senior clubs, not GI clubs as such. I'm only 30, feel I should be able to get by with irons.

I had the 2009 burner irons in regular and always struggled with the 4i, I was convinced it played completely different to every other iron in the bag. My pro said I was pulling he's leg until he hit it, he agreed that the shaft as a regular felt so weak compared with the five or six iron it was actually pretty scary! I moved to the cb tp's which are slightly less forgiving but the four iron in that set is so much easier to hit even with a smaller more compact head

I have 2 Adams Pro A12 hybrids and absolutely love them. Off a tee, fairway or rough they are brilliant

I didn't get on with the K15 hybrids I had so I went back to irons only. I have since got myself a Mizuno MP CLK 23 degree but I was struggling slightly again with until someone said to me swing & strike it like an iron as I was sweeping it a bit like a wood. The difference is remarkable to I'll work with it a bit longer then possibly look at a stronger one.

I think in semi rough their a god send as an iron will snatch but the small head of a hybrid will cut through.

Can't be that bad or classed as a seniors club, look at how many young pro's have them!

If you have the burners..Try the TM Rescue11..... There lofts should fit in perfect with your irons......I recently got my hands on a 3h.....And its stupid easy and stupid long to hit...As was said above...Put an easy unhurried swing on them and just watch that ball cruise...

Think a trip to the shops before the range may be in order. Cheers guys!

get an adams 16degree a12 pro. super club for hitting it a long way with a low driving trajectory! essential kit !!

nothing feels as solid as the adams a12 and nothing sounds as good as the mizuno jpx 800 hybrid.

rocketballs go miles! also great clubs but i am not mad about white heads!

I am on the fence, I prefer irons. I have a 19* which fills the role of a 2 iron in my set. I find it great off the tee and its powerful into the wind.

I like having a 3 iron as a tee club option so I am struggling to part with it in exchange for a 2nd hybrid.

21 degree 909H but also carry a 3 and 4 iron as they do different things for me. In the summer on dry courses I replace the hybrid with a 1-iron for the run off the tee on some shots.
