Happy New Year all.Just a question on how many if any hybrids do you have in the bag and thoughts on them ? I have 3 + 4 hybrids which at times seem to hit better than my irons.Anyone else experience this ?
I carry one. It is a Mizuno CLK 23 degree 4 iron loft. I have a bit of a like/hate relationship with it. I go through periods where I only just knob it 5 yards and out of the blue I'll cream one and it'll earn a reprieve, then it's back to knobbing it again for the next few rounds. Jury is out for me.
Sorry pal I gave £29.99 for mine, I've just been out practicing and trying to get to grips with why I hit it so badly. I started from scratch with set-up and ball position. Hitting from my normal position inside left toe produced the usual topp. I began moving the ball back a bit at a time, it got better all the time until just back of center where I normally position my wedges gave a lovely high flight and good distance. I just have to take it to the course and hit it from the new position. Feeling more positive. That's the hybrid I'm currently looking for... could get now for £60 but looking for a bit of a bargain so keep checking the bargain buckets, ebay etc. but can't find one :-( unless you're selling at a very good price![]()
3 in my bag. Listed below. They go quite far for me especially the middle one. I was carrying it as far as the 19 and 21. Added the higher lofted in at end if August as i found I required that distance quite oftrn and our semi rough was that thick it was hard to get a good strike with a 5iron.
I see handicap wise we're about the same, just wondered how you get on with the 910H's? I like the look and setup of them, but have always been put off thinking they're for better players off lower handicaps. That seems to be the marketing for the titleist hybrids, which could be tosh, but would you recommend them? Are they easy to get the ball up with a nice flight?
