Hybrid recommendations

I have a TM Rocketballz 18 degree hybrid and I love it. It goes for miles, much further than any other hybrid I've tried. It launches the ball very high, which is not ideal where I play as it's normally windy, but the ball just seems cut through the wind and keep on going. I would recommend trying one of them.

In the last few months Ive had a Cleveland Mashie, Adams XTD, TM RBZ, Ping Rapture V2 and Cobra Baffler T rail. The longest of the bunch was the MASHIE. I used to cream that thing but it always wanted to go left so it went. The XTD and Rbz were very similar in every way with the slight edge to the XTD in length and feel due to a slightly lower flight. couldnt get any major consistancy with either though particularly with the RBZ. The Cobra is just money. Get over the crazy neon grip and it really is a fantastic club. I find it to be every bit as long as the others and has a high but piercing trajectory. The accuracy though is spot on. I played five shots the other on our driving range and you really could throw a blanket over all of the shots.

Cobra was a brand that had previously interested me, I'll definitely consider it, thanks!

So you'd recommend the i20 then?

No! I'd recommend an Adams or an i20 based on numerous reviews and other peoples experience, however, best way is to try a variety at the range and go with what looks and feels comfortable

Yeah, I will do, I'll make my way to the Pro or AG or somewhere soon to have look, plan on testing out a few, intrigued by Adams particularly since they are so highly thought of on here

I see the baffler getting a mention, that's preetty good too.

however the daddyis the Callaway Razr X, so sweet it's unmissbale. Try it, try them all actually, but whatever you do try a Razr X before they get superceded.

The TM Burner Superfast came out in 2010 (?) and was the white incarnation TM released in conjunction with the R11 brand. I had a Cobra DWS Baffler for years which I loved but I've never really felt the love for Adams and never managed to hit the ones (ok the two models) well

I don't care too much for hybrids myself, mainly as I can never settle on one I like.

I have a Mizuno MP CLK that I rate pretty highly (17* loft) that makes a nice noise and has an excellent stock shaft.

I had the original TM Superfast and while a good club, the stock shaft was utter mince. I had a Cleveland Mashie for a time too. Again a pretty good club but the shaft was far, far too light and I never felt in control of it.

Get down to your pro and try out a few he has in stock. Give them a fair go on the range and see what gives you what you're after.
