Hybrid or fairway wood?

I use my hybrids more in the winter. The distance from my hyrbid is mainly carry whereas my fairway woods have a lower flight that relys on alot of roll for distance which is not much use at this time of year.

Cannot wait for the weekend, just put a new JPX 800 19 degree hybrid in the bag and desperate to try it on the course.

Thanks all.
It seems there is no correct method and will depend on lie / situation /weather etc.
I'm going to stick with what’s comfortable for now until the swing and scoresimprove. Think I will continue to use a wood from a tee, particularly on tightor short par 4's where can easily (attempt!) reach in two.
Cheers MadAdley, I’ve been trying to sweep the ball with the hybrid, I will tryusing them more like an iron at the range tonight.

If it helps you out then it was my pleasure. I had that problem when I first purchased mine. Hit them great from the tee or a fluffy lie in the rough. Spoke to my pro and he said hit it like a mid iron. I did that and not looked back since. Smash them a mile and I will always go for it over a wood.
