It’s funny how many people (and I know a lot of you are joking) get caught up in the north/south divide which is perpetuated by people for nefarious aims. Divide and conquer. I’ve seen so much vitriol aimed at people for no other reason than having a posher/more “common” accent.

Wow, thanks for this. Just checked and, as I live a few miles north of Bristol in Thornbury, I am only 0.05 degrees south of Watford - so I can continue to be a Southerner, phew.

Not tough enough to be called a Northerner, nor do I like gravy on my chips.

Must be grim up north in the Cotswolds though.

Well, for me, they start at Dalgety Bay.
