So after TM coming up with the idea of a big headed 3w to replace your driver, who is actually still using one? Did you get one and hate it, or did you just find no real use for it in your bag.

I have dropped mine from my bag as I have no need for it, after my wife getting me fitted for a SLDR TP 430 as a wedding present. It is not that I do not like it, but I hit this driver as straight, but 30 yards further than my MINI DRIVER so it has been dropped from the bag now.

Had one, tried it, couldn't make it stick in the bag, sold it !

For me, it could easily replace my 3 wood off the tee, could just about replace the driver (a little less distance but easier to hit) but couldn't replace the 3w off the deck ... As such I would of ended up with two 3w but probably using the rbz only for fairway shots (maybe 2 a round?).

Yes still use mine even though I have added a G30 Driver to the bag. I like it off the Tee as a strong 3W as it gives me lots of confidence, and is a fall back if I loose confidence in the Driver. Dont' use it off the deck, I use a 3 Hybrid. cant see it being replaced any time soon

I have one and its in the bag. I have the 14 and would prefer either 12 as an option to replace the driver or 16 for gapping reasons.

I prefer the deeper 3 wood as modern drivers make other clubs look so tiny and am quite happy to hit the mini off the deck.

If yours is a tp version, 12 or 16 degrees s or x flex and under 3 torque are you selling it?

Mine is still well and truly in the bag. Use it for tight holes and when the big stick is misbehaving. Also use it off the deck quite a bit and am fairly reasonable at doing so....certainly no worse than when I used the old style 3w!

I've only had mine for a month but it's still in the bag and It'll be staying there for the foreseeable future. I have the 14 degree and use it off the tee on 3-4 holes per round at my course on holes where I previously struggled off the tee. I'd say I hit at least 80% of fairways with it, so it serves it's purpose. I don't hit it long enough to use it more often, so it's mainly just my go to club for shorter/tight par 4s. My main problem is currently which club to drop for it. Currently I'm not carrying a 3 wood which limits my options from the fairway (I can't hit the sldr off the deck).

It's gone, as much as I enjoyed it and it was straight I didn't get the great feeling g of smacking the big stick. My Cleveland classic is as good and the shafts 100 times better.

I finally tracked down a LH one a few months ago, and it quickly replaced my driver - even though it's 16 degree!

Excellent all round and staying firmly in the bag.

I do think that these are a fantastic creation and IMO should go straight into the bag for a beginner. It sounds stupid, but I have found it goes too far  I have found that most trouble on a golf course is actually the same distance as this goes, so I end up using my 2h on these holes. When it comes to par 5s after a good drive, I am then too close to the use it and find I have to lay up with my 2h. So basically I have got my i25 back in the bag as it is about 15 yards shorter than the MINI and I am using it a lot more.

When i first started playing (many moons ago!), I bought a TM Brassie - effectively a 2 wood with 12 degree loft. Isn't the mini-driver essentially a re-spin of an old concept?

Bought the 12 degree following the rave reviews and a try out down the range however after a few weeks I realised that it wasn't quite what I was looking for as my 3 wood was better off the deck and my driver was better off the tee. I sold it at a good price and was fortunate not to lose too much money on it.

I broke mine. The face just caved in and when they told me that they didnt know when more would be available I took the credit note

I did enjoy my time with it though, I was struggling with my driving and it helped me get the ball back in play off the tee and regain some confidence. When it broke I bought a Titleist 913 D2 for £100 off ebay and I am really enjoying it. Definitely think it serves a purpose though for players who are struggling off the tee

Yep. Still have mine and use it 3-4 times off the tee every round. Also started hitting it off the deck on par 5s due to the distances dropping and not being able to reach with a long iron/hybrid any more. Driver is probably 20-30 yards longer so still room for both in the bag.
