Afternoon all,
Hope you're having a good golfing day in the UK whether you've already played, are about to play or are just settling down to watch the dunhill.
Here's a little photographic snapshot of mine from round 3 of the Asian Amateur Championship...

Hi Jezz fantastic day back home weather wise.
Played awful this morn in the captains day,but have a chance of
closest the pin on 5.
Hope your enjoying our holiday.

Tony - bad news on the weather front. Gives me less to gloat about to the wife when I get back!
Hope you hold on for that nearest the pin.
You appear to have used the word 'holiday' by mistake in your final sentence!

Course is very nice and quite demanding physically - especially with the humidity - as it's very up and down.
The standard of golf is varied because each member nation of the Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation is invited to submit 2 players with a maximum handicap of up to 5.4, and there are certainly players from some of the smaller golfing nations/islands (Cook Islands, Guam, Iran etc) that you might fancy your chances against.
However, at the top end the standard is very high. The two leaders are Ben Campbell of New Zealand who apparently won a pro event down there recently, and Hideki Matsuyama of Japan who not only won this event last year, but then went on to make the cut at the Masters and finish 27th. So definitely a mix of stars of the future and those doing their bit for their country as it were...
