New waterproof golf bag (£90)
Sim fairway wood bought at least there was 15% off back then. (£160)

If Black Friday was next week, my £250 would go on a trip to the Isle of Wight.

Not to play golf. But because I fancy an evening in a pub.

Does anyone have any good trouser tips? Is a lifelong concern, can't face buying any 'golf trousers' - budget £50 tops

Avoid paying the golf tax on trousers and get Sainsburys slim fit stretch chinos for about £18. Every bit as good as the Tommy Hilfiger I used to wear at 4x the price. Even the Tesco 2 for £20 are reasonable. But the lighter coulours do stain easily.

Sounds like a plan. Be interesting to see how long £250 buys you with them

When I was in Florida 15 years ago, the going rate for Nick Bolettieri who was Agassis tennis coach was $1200 per hour, and he would spend most of that on the phone to someone else. Obv if he was coaching Agassi, or Sharapova, they got his full attention.
