Hi I have a powakaddy classic legend. Which works fine however my bag keeps twisting around on it. The new freeways have better holders but these are not available for the classic . has anybody got any tips on how to reduce golf bag twist?

I tend to get a rough idea of the diameter of the bag and then buy a tight-fitting bungey from the £1 shop.

If that doesn't do the trick, find some narrow pipe lagging and cut two bits about 6-10 cm long and superglue them to the bungey.

What bag do you have? Powakaddy have added wedges on the bottom of the Bags to stop the bag from twisting, this is since 2007 Bags.

But there should be a more elegant solution than trussing it up with bungees in some bondage fest.

As an aside, why isn't there a standard fitting for trolleys and trolley bags, so this doesn't happen. The current straps are a poor design, and really don't work.

I know Powacaddy have a fitting for their bags and trolleys, but why isn't this universal?

why aren't shaft flexes universal,
why aren't lofts universal,
why isn't the moon made of blue cheese,
ah, sweet mystery of life

May be the moon is made of cheese. Maybe Armstrong didn't really go there at all. How can you drive a 6 million dollar car on blue cheese and not get stuck?

As for lofts and shaft flexes, at least the tip diameters are standardised, so that you can mix shafts and heads. Why not bag retention systems?

I have a Powakaddy bag and a manual push cart and the base of the bag does not even fit the base of the trolley!

Does my narks in but I get round it by using brute strength to create the tension on the top strap. I agree whole-heartedly that all trolley bags and all trolleys should have a standardised base-lock mechanism. It just makes sense.
