How often do you replace your wedges?

I'm very reluctant to change wedges unless I have to. In the 18 years i've been playing golf i've only changed about 3-4 times. I had 2 very old tour performance Titleist wedges for the best part of 8 years but sadly had to retire them and then I struggled with a couple of vokey's so in the last 3 years i've been using some Cleveland gun metals which are starting to look a bit weathered but I love them. I'm not getting as much spin with them as I used to but i've adjusted my game and know them like the back of my hand in all conditions so i'll only replace them when pretty much forced to in the coming years.

I would only change mine once the grooves were really worn. Even though a lot of my shots are played with wedges and they get a lot of work when I work on my short game, they are still going strong. To be honest once they are worn a little they tend to be more consistent on the amount of spin and roll I get

The new ping glide wedges look stunning! I have only ever changed wedges when I have bought a new set of irons, so every 6 months is the answer to the op ;)

Could be worse big man, you could replace them every time you change driver!!

I changed mine fairly recently to Cobra Tour Trusty ones, mainly to change lofts. Jury still out on them.

Like the look of the new Ping ones so might give them a try.

and this is the real dilemma - MadAdey has worded it well!

Not sure how obsessive others are about their wedges. When I got mine I went on the launch monitor to find out the distances. I know the 50* goes 20 yards less than my PW and the 58* 20 less than that. That was the reasoning for choosing those lofts. After all tha messing around getting the distance gapping perfect why change them until I have to.
