3 times a week, Tue, Fri & Sat, plus other visits for a few holes or some practise. As long as the course is open I'll be there.

For me it changes a lot.
Sometimes I’ll play 3 times a week other times I’ll go months without playing.

I’m semi retired but my hours generally depend on how many if any are on holiday or sick.

I also have a few issues physically which means I’m never sure if I can definitely play until the day (especially when it’s cold). Although I’m hoping that will continue to improve.

If I get my wish and join a club again next year I’ll hopefully play a lot more.

Previously when I was a member I played normally twice a week.

Over 10 , changes a bit in the winter as can't be bothered to play in iffy weather for social golf now Im fully retired

Once every weekend, usually without fail. Then once or twice a month I'll have a day off for a mid-week round - this will be slightly less in the winter months of course. So it'd be 6-7 a month in summer* and 5-6 in winter probably. As you can guess from that, my job is Monday to Friday, normal office hours.

*if you want to count nine-hole solo rounds, throughout the summer I was often getting one of these in on a late Tuesday afternoon, so that would bring us to 9 or 10 a month I guess.

Once a week with the odd extra round so about 5 times a month
Still working
No change for winter. Luckily no chilly weather
Technically not a member, so green fee's each time

Should be a 25+ choice.... 😋
The number does diminish through the darker months but I'm out most days if the course and weather are in my favour.
It won't always be 18...sometimes 9, sometimes 11,12 or 16 depending...
But it equates to more than 200 full rounds a year
Not strictly retired but definitely not working;)

I play 40-45 times per year. So, on average, I'm in the 3-5 times per month bracket. I play throughout the winter but the frequency drops right off (I only played twice in Nov and only have one in the diary for Dec). I'm still working full time. I am a club member but half my golf is opens, around a quarter is society days out, club comps and "social" golf make up the other quarter.

Tuesday, Friday, Sunday every week throughout the year, Wednesday 9-holer from April to September, seniors matches, knockouts, away trips - 121 QRs this year so far, have never got round to submitting a GP score.

1-2 times per week in the summer, 1 per week if I'm lucky in the winter. No midweek golf in winter for starters, I work and after work golf is out. Add in holidays, family events etc ruling out some weekends, and I'm probably in the 40-50 rounds per year camp.

In summer its pretty frequent though dependent on other things may be up to 5 times though not every week.
Winter, less often mainly weather and light dependent.
I'm in a club and retired I played a lot less prior to retirement though usually at least twice a week but often not a full 18 holes, in winter it was very rare as there was no light after work.

These days as and when my body allows me to but no more than twice a week. I will often walk in if I am not feeling to great 2 weeks ago I only got in one 11 hole round and last week one 14 hole round.

When I was at my best 5/6 handicap I played 2/3 times a week

Winter weather is another big factor as I never play in the rain.

Retired for many years member of the same club for 39 years

I play Saturday and Sunday through winter. Summer will go out in the evening after work once or twice a week in addition.

It’s very simple

How often do you play a month

Also does it change in winter

Are you a member of a club

And are you retired or still working

Nowadays lucky if I play 18 a handful of times a year. Usually got one or two charity days and got some good contacts that between member sign ons and corporate/work things I can get treated to a few invites onto the biggies (playing new Trump in couple weeks).

But yes still member at a club, play once a week, usually 10/12 holes one evening in the summer and in the winter more often that changes to an hour on the range or practicing. Not the biggest fan of mats/winter greens etc.

Two kids under 5 just now so time is a bit more tight for swinging a club.
Which to be honest I don’t mind at all, I know the days of soft plays and swing parks won’t be around for long, there’ll come a time soon they’ll not want to hang about with their da so when that comes I might be able to get a handicap and play a medal again!

Monday, Wednesday and Saturday every week of the year, weather permitting. Also play in a society once a month.
Member of a golf club and fully retired.
