How much is too much for practice aids?

After reading the practice thread and seeing Homer’s post, Target circles which seem ideal for my needs for this season as its short game central soon. Thought no problems must be about £15-20 a set for all, no... Cheapest anywhere is £44 inc postage for a 3 & 6 foot plastic circle. It beggars belief how they can charge that much, it’s tough enough getting things past the wife but this might just send her over the top after the V-Easy.

Do you think its daylight robbery or am I been a tight Yorkshireman?

£44 is robbery mate, just buy a kid's hula-hoop

Bit steep if you ask me. They look really useful but I always find with these things that there's usually a free way of doing it, like making a target by shoving tees in the ground if it's on the green, or laying clubs down if not

Mark out your circle with some tees and string. Much cheaper!

Might just get the 6 foot one and hope I don't get the yips.

The small one is only about £20 and ideal for a landing target. I use the big one more for longer range stuff but it is still worth having. I guess it depends if you have the funds and how much you want to use them

I ordered them as I know this season I will get my moneys worth, really looking forward to using them with the V-Easy on the chipping green.

They are expensive and the build quality not as good as I would have expected. Daylight robbery is about right. But they are quick to lay out and unlike towels do not absorb impact so you get a true roll afterwards. Noticed this with all golf training aids majority are massively overpriced.

A bit of wavin pipe from a plumb centre taped up will do just as well and a lot cheaper.
