Current visitor rates are £30 weekday and £35 weekend so that would be 25 or 22 rounds. Can't remember what the rate was during the summer but it probably wasn't much more. Think I play over 60 rounds a year so definitely get my monies worth.

Our club uses dynamic pricing like FIFA does with World Cup tickets these days, so it's impossible to calculate accurately, especially when visitors can't play at certain times. Twilight rates would mean around 50 rounds, but regular rates would mean around 20 rounds. Overall, I would suggest the course is underpriced for visitors based on other local courses.

Your place should charge more in winter than summer. It's when it really comes into its own over other courses

35. But alot more if you used our £15 on a Monday and then booked other days on Golf Now, where we have bluddy loads of t times at their cheap rate. And we wont increase the rates as we need the visitors!!!!!

I’m ok with it as it has always been the case that locals and students are looked after.

I would like to see them introduce a Scottish (or UK) resident rate that a lot of the other top courses have done.

I'm ok with locals and students getting a big discount. But there needs to be a balance - it's not right that a lucky few get an annual subscription for the price of a single green fee. It's profiteering.

Agree that there should be a Scottish and UK resident rate. Woodhall Spa offers a discount to all members of a club affiliated to England Golf, so something similar would be a fair recognition of the role of St Andrews as a public facility.
