How many rounds do you play a year?

Working on a basis of 2 x every weekend from February until the end of November is 82. Add in the bank holidays and that's another 5. Then I guess with annual leave and midweek golf (say two rounds per week for June-Sep is another 20) then I'm guessing around 120 for the coming year. Add in a few nine holes some evenings and some practice time and thats another full calendar. Not included GM days either so even more on top

The wife has put an upper limit of 100 for 2010 - so I will need to choose carefully!!!

Do you limit the amount the wife spends on shoes, hand bags, clothes etc?

I played approx 90 rounds at own course and approx 10 at others open comps inter matches.
would love to play 200 but think the better half would have something to say!!!!!

About 80 on my own course and 20 to 30 on others. Lucky with my shifts that allows plenty of oppurtunity to play during the week.

I would expect my number of rounds to be in the mid 90's for this season.

There are about 20 nine hole rounds included when weather or daylight restricts at start and end of year.

Target for 2010 is 12 new courses and 100 rounds as agreed with Mrs Barum Blue.

I think my club will be restricting me as well as I think I am a loss leader LOL!!

32 rounds in 8 months last year, 6 new courses. will be more this year. i have all of September assigned to golf.

I finished just short of 211. I'll have to try harder in 2010!

Last year I played the equivalent of 207 18 hole rounds (fitting in 9 or more holes after work plus plenty more on weekends and holidays).

I think I managed 36 different courses of which 26 were ones I hadn't played before. (I've now played 308 courses)

In a 9 day stretch in May managed to play 270 holes (15 rounds) on 11 different courses and in September managed 483 holes (26 rounds and 15 holes) in 16 days on 14 different courses.

I'll struggle to match that this year though as a case of golfers elbow means I'm not intending to play again till end of Feb/early March. But I'll give it a good try!

Try and have at least 1 per week so 52 plus the away games 20. That would make 72 abit less than this year.
Do try and put in 10 new courses each year if I can upat 208 so far.

I'm going to try and play once a week plus there's a couple of midweek forum meets (hopefully more) so 60 rounds for me. I also hope to play my first round in Majorca and, HID permitting, a Scottish golfing extravaganza!!

I played maybe five new courses last year, the best being Foxhills, Chartham Park and Kent and Surrey, the worst being Southern Valley.
