How many pars do you play

I average 20% pars, so I get between 3 and 4 on average each round. That number is going up though, pleasingly!

Averaging just under 9 this year, with around 3 birdies per round. The good days will see a couple more of each but its the damn double bogies that are killing my rounds this year

I even had a 9 on a par 4 on Sunday, but having missed the bogey putt, and then the double bogey putt, I knocked the ball into a bunker in temper. Then, realising it was a multi round comp.... and relax 2,3,4.

Game golf has me down as 35% par so that's 7 it is the 4% birdies that is annoying to me.....

A lot less than I should........I'm more of a bogie/birdie kind of guy..... My last 2 rounds:

Pars 15
Bogies 11
D/ bogie 1
birdies 9

Need to convert some my bogies to pars and we're cooking on gas! :thup:

I started into next week's allowance on the 6th, then rimmed out on 7 for a bogey, then 3 putted 8 for a bogey... 9 over after 8 became 13 over after 11... I was happy.

I've gone for 4-5, some days it's as many as 8 and other days I struggle to get one. the other week before my cut I hacked round for 13 holes then had 3 pars.

I'm normally pretty steady with pars. How well I score in total will depend on whether or not I make a couple of birdies and keeping doubles off.

Same here Gary. I have turned into a par machine. I'm hitting lots of GIR, but never close enough to make lots of birdies.

I need 2 or 3 less bogies per 18 to reach NY par 3 challenge target and keep making 1 or 2 birdies at least

Playing off 12 you must really cock up big time on the other 4 holes.
I've just checked my score card from my 41 pointer the other week and I only had 7 pars and 2 birdies.

It helps if the longest hole is just 140 yards.

Played 36 on Friday and made 22......
Just don't make enough birdies and easy to throw in a double or 2....
