How many clubs in your collection so far?

Looking at some of the posts recently about new clubs etc, it got me thinking.

How much stuff you don’t use should you have just lying around?

I appear to have accumulated a fair amount of stuff I don’t use that often.

I’ve only played 5 years, so I dread to think how many I will have in 20 years time.

So how many clubs have you got?

I have 15 clubs, and alternate between including a 3 iron in the bag, and a hybrid. Generally prefer the hybrid in the winter, especially when fairways are wet.

HID doesn't moan so much when i get a new shiney bat, if i sell an old one.

I have 15 clubs; the ones in my bag and the road-rage wedge I keep in the boot of my car along with a shovel and a bag of lime.

ping jas wti anser (the best putter ever made by ping, straight off the tour bus). I would sell it but it would be expensive so I'm keeping it.

Probably have 50 clubs knocking about in the bag/shed/attic - all crap mind you

I have what is in my sig (plus 3 iron) (mp 52s come soon, so will have extra irons) plus

Wilson Aggressor Driver with the worlds most bendy graphite shaft (its old and cheap and well used). (no idea where this came from)

Dunlop 64 wedge (bought from sports locker when it came with discounted top flite golf balls)

Wilson Deep red II driver(hand me down from uncle)

Mizuno Fli Hi 18 driving iron (bought)

Taylor Made V steel steel shafted 4 wood (bought 2nd hand)

two half sets of assorted hickory shafted clubs (in fairly poor state, wifes great grandfathers clubs I acquired 4 years ago)

I also have in my parents shed

Set of Fazer Firepower irons (sw-4 iron)

Ben Sayers 1 wood (not a driver!! gift when I first started (1998 ish), had a 3 wood also but the head flew off into a pond)

Pinseeker 5,7,9 iron (£3 each from Hemswell market in 1997) - yes my first ever irons were blades!

Top flite 6 iron (gift in 1998)

My first putter, some generic one (gift)

I have given away a few clubs, my old 50 progen wedge and 58 degree fazer bunker wedge! Reviewing all the above I see a bunch of worthless crap (apart from hickory clubs and my current set including my mp 52s)

What I do intend to do is donate as much of it to charity very soon (except hickory clubs!!). Someone will want it somewhere!

Also some other ones have perished

Exchanged my ben sayers 5 wood for the progen wedge I gave away.

I remember my exact golfing history!

I can beat that with 3 sets including a set of Lynx black cat CST1 irons with graphite shafts, titleist 775s and latest and best mizuno mp 58s with assorted woods, wedges and a chipper! 43 clubs -I should sell some but I never get round to it.
