Just wondering how long other clubs take to process results through HDiD and get notifications of finishing positions, handicap changes etc..

It seems we're rather slow at it; we had our closing competition on Saturday past, which was a rearranged event from earlier due to adverse weather on the original date and the final result hasn't been confirmed.

I wasn't in with a chance of winning outright, but had a chance at topping my division and depending on CSS could achieve a possible cut. But now into day five after the event to get results in via HDiD strikes me as a bit slow... most of our earlier weekend seasonal comps were 2-3 days after the event, with midweek comps usually the next day.

At my old place we usually got results the next day, even in events where there was a full field out; not sure why there is such a delay in getting results published, but have heard other folk at the club moan as well about the length of time taken to get them out so it isn't just me.

Ours our done by the next day. I get to wake up the day after a competition and see the email confirming that my handicap has increased by 0.1. Sometimes I wish they were less efficient.

Weekend results are done on the Monday

Midweek ones the next day

It will all depend on when your competition is closed off and processed by a committee member. That process in itself should send the result straight through to the online site HDID or other in a matter of seconds. If it doesn't come through on HDID then it may not have been sent from the club PC when the box asking what the user wants to do shows up. It's really simple I don't understand why so many clubs seem to have problems.

Before the latest update of Club Systems they did have a bug where the results would be all done correctly on the system but wouldn't always present to HDID website - reopening and then closing comp normally sorted it

Ours can be the that afternoon depending on what the handicap sec is doing. We don't have HDIDO but use our own system, at worst Monday morning for Handicap adjustmenst. CSS is usually done at the close of the comp so you can adjust your own score down if you are playing the next day.

Ours are done the next day usually but I have had occasion where they don't show on HDID until I logout and back in again, might be worth a try

Sigh.....and how exactly Cub Systems ever became market leader I still struggle to see. We switched to HandicapMaster 3 years ago, pay around half the price and have IMO a much better, more reliable and user friendly system.

All their new stuff and quite impressive - the new ClubV system and a new website with little interaction needed towards HDID

We will be upgrading over the winter - going to be a lot better for our members including a mobile friendly site plus going to a lot easier to set up and close comps from home. A world better than currently

When we had a handicap secretary it was usually about ten o'clock the night of a Saturday comp and early next morning of a Wednesday comp but now the pro shop do it it's usually the next day for both so pretty quick by the sound of it !
