you dont have to play amazing and win this tournament is the best statement I think.

also theres no diffcult putt from the centre of every green.

I was watching on ESPN but flicked over to listen to Mr Nicklaus and couldnt quite bear the slime that was coming out of Montys mouth, every sentence was "blah blah blah, Im sure Jack will agree", "blah blah blah, isnt that right Jack". Sickening and sometimes you could see Mr Nicklaus answering his question but body language was telling that he wanted to continue with what they were already discussing.

Butch Harmon did the right thing and just sat back and listened which to me speaks volumes about him too, Butch probably has more anecdotes about Augusta and its competitions etc than Monty but was happy to just sit back and listen.

+1 to this. Whoever described Monty as self-obsessed was right on the money. Just shut up and listen, Colin. You (yes, even you) might learn something if you kept quiet for 5 minutes.

The best bit of advice Jack gave was "Don't do anything dumb." Anyone can make a mistake, the key is not to follow it up with another one.

Why do they keep calling him Mr ? He is Jack, or big Jack to everyone that has ever picked up a club in anger.

Amazing to think he was very unpopular at the beginning of his career, especially in the US, when he started beating Arnie. Has always been a true sportsman in victory and defeat.

They used to call him Fat Jack, didn't they?
