Just interested to know……..up and down the country, how good are your greens. When did your greens last get cored and top dressed. Are you getting a good roll on the ball.

For me our greens are a disgrace for the time of year and the conditions we've had. Last year you could understand it because they were still under snow in March.
They cored them around the end of March then they did them again around the middle of April with the first lots holes still there. We've had no rain to speak of for about 6/7 weeks. They still have loads of bare patches from the winters fusarium disease (happens every year).
There are thicker areas with good strong growth then thinner lighter growth followed by bare patches. This all makes judging any sort of putt a lottery with balls jumping in the air. No consistency of pace between greens either.
